In remembrance of Adeline Loh (1972 - 2015)
Dear Friends,
Our hearts are filled with sorrow as we share with you the news that our dear friend, Adeline Loh, passed away peacefully at 10.48am on 29 Oct 2015.
Adeline spent a lifetime in PL, as a student from 1979 to 1988, and as a teacher from 1997 onwards. She was instrumental in our alma mater’s progress and success in the areas of Aesthetics and Creative Arts. Over the years, she wrote many beautiful songs for our school and co-wrote several memorable musicals.
But much more than that, Adeline will be remembered for immeasurable love for God, her school, and all those around her. She saw beauty in everyone and gave her time freely to anyone in need. She has left an indelible mark on our lives.
We will miss her ready laughter, her comforting presence and most of all, we will miss a true friend.
For those of us especially who have known Adeline since our school days, the loss is indeed hard to bear. Do take comfort in knowing that she is safe in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Details of the wake and the funeral:
Wake will be at Mt Vernon, Grace Hall. 31 Oct 2015 (Sat) till 2 Nov 2015 (Mon). Evening services from 7.30 pm.
Funeral will be held on 3 Nov 2015 (Tues). Cortege will be leaving Mr Vernon at 11.15 am and arriving at Mandai Columbarium at 12 noon.
We pray for God's presence with Adeline's family in this time of grief.
