OBITUARY
Arthur Davis Brooks was the first- born son to Jesse M. Brooks and Cora Davis in Coy, Alabama on March 23, 1934.Affectionately known as “BooJack” to all who loved and cared for him, he had an avid love for hunting, fishing, and driving trucks.
Arthur was educated in Coy, Alabama and would later move to Birmingham, Alabama where he was employed with McWane Steel, Lem Walker Moving and Storage, United VanLines, Bruno’s Grocery, and finally Birmingham Logistics before retiring.
He was preceded in death by both his parents as well as a son, Demepric Brooks, a daughter, Patricia Brooks, & a sister, Ethel Brooks.
He leaves to cherish his memory, four daughters, Vanessa (Moses) Patterson, Darlene Brooks, Brenda (Ronnie) Butler, and Elizabeth Taylor; five sons, Arthur Bruce Brooks, Arthur D. Brooks, Jr., Damone Brooks, Derrick Brooks, and Dwight Taylor. Siblings, Margaret King, Susan “Tammy” Wilson, Edwin Angion, and Jesse Brooks. 23 grandkids and a host of great grands, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
