Arthur Vogt, 82 of Lakewood, New Jersey, passed away on November 30, 2022. After battling a long illness.
Arthur was born on August 2, 1940 to Joseph and Irma Vogt, in Hackensack, New Jersey. After graduating from Hackensack High School, he attended college in New York City for Electronics before leaving to join Frank Ackerman, Plumbing and Heating, Inc. in Hackensack, New Jersey, which he eventually took over as President in the 1970’s until his retirement in 2002.
He is predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth Louise Ackerman Vogt who passed on June 14, 2007. They enjoyed spending time cooking, boating, fishing, and being with their grandchildren as their favorite pastimes together for many years.
He is survived by his sons, Joseph Vogt (Lisa Vogt), Michael Vogt (Maureen Vogt *predeceased) and Phillip Vogt (Maria Vogt), seven grandchildren, Jessica Vogt, Nicole Vogt, Michael Tyler Vogt, Kristen Vogt, Elena Vogt, Elizabeth Vogt, Vincent Vogt, and four great-grandchildren.
A private celebration of Arthur’s life is planned for the family.
