Barry and I made several trips to TVA power plants. Even when going as far as Oak RidgeBarry did not like to leave before quitting time and insisted on driving. He had a heavy accelerator foot and and good brake foot as he liked to tail gate. I was always glad to make our destination. He did not sleep well on these trips and always had me drive home. On several occasions we had to stop at the Russel Stover factory store in Cookville. He knew where the real bargains were displayed and then stored the chocolates in his office. Barry was diligent and precise in his work and a fair and just manager and friend. I am glad he had quality time after TVA.
