Barry was my first cousin, two years older than I. A highlight of going to my Grandma Barnard’s at least a couple of times each year was seeing Barry, Nancy, Susan, Jim, and Janet. After playing Barbie’s with Nancy, Barry would join us in our adventures climbing in the haylofts, chasing the chickens, and exploring the woods and creek on the farm. What a childhood delight! I’ll always remember his beautiful smile, his patience in playing with a younger cousin, and his fun-loving personality. How wonderful to know I’ll see him again. My sympathy and prayers go out to his sweet family.
