It’s Your Birthday, 2020. It would be great to share our afternoon coffee with a chat. Since it’s not possible, I’ll fill you in on the Grandkids ... Jake and Abby are beautiful inside and out. Tried their hand at modeling as they are 6ft at age 14 ... Jake plays football and Abby plays volleyball. Both play so very well! Emma is a beauty, she is bright and friendly yet a bit of a homebody. She is half way through her freshman year in college ... attending a stunning school on the the Pacific coast. Haley is in the midst of getting her Masters degree and has found a niche for earning money in the car business. She has a wonderful boyfriend and they are sharing a life in Tennessee. Vance and Sydney are also living in Tennessee, Vance is working and now getting ready to attend college, I think tombe an electrician. Sydney is a High School junior and excels scholastically but also has found a sweet spot in her small town environment. She enjoys theatre and is a part of it in school. We all knew that was her! Ty is a college freshman and he is focusing on the computer ... he is a hard worker and has learned much about the pool business from his Dad. He’s a natural conversationalist and is very interesting. Little Taryn is a doll. Easy going and friendly. She has an internal fire that clicks on when she needs to compete and succeed with herself. Self motivation is her middle name!

My coffee is cold, how about a warm up?

Carol Fischer was not only my grandma, she was an amazing person that influenced my life very much. I wanted to thank her for always looking out for me and always being kind to me when I was down. I never had the chance to tell her I loved her very much and I regret not doing that. She had always brought a smile to my face every time I visited her and she always made me laugh. I miss her very much. She had accomplished so much in life and I am very proud to say that she was a great great person in my life. Sincerely Abby P.

Carol and I became friends later on in life. I believe we were both surprised to discover we had so much in common. We shared many "loves and Likes". She will always share a piece of me and my heart will be happy as I recall the loves and likes we both appreciated and were thankful for. These are some of the best and some of the simplest: 8 amazing Grandchildren and their loving parents, friend and family gatherings, the sound of children and pets playing, a good cup of coffee, gooey butter cake and chocolate chip cookies, purple and green, old times, the tedious chore of shelling pecans, the aroma of earthy flowers growing to display their glorious splendor. These will always be a reminder of Carol and will continue to remain on and on. Peace!

Vicki,
I am sorry to hear about Carol's passing. I am a cousin to Roy and remember Carol as a young woman and Mom. She always had a sweet smile, a cute laugh and kind word! I know that you will always have Carol close in your heart. Blessing to all of you. Pat Munder Thompson

A wonderful tribute with beautiful pictures of a woman who loved life! She left an incredible legacy in her children and grandchildren. A piece of her is in each of them. May God give peace and comfort to all her family and friends!

I will miss Carol she was a great person and animal lover. I will always remember the day we ran around Denver and laughed so much with Demetria and went to a party, Carol was exhausted so the next day we just hung at the house and barbecued. She loved to laugh

There isn't enough space to allow for all that Carol was. She thought of everyone before herself, always smiled. Her family was the most important part of her life!  Loved her Choc Full of Nuts coffee which she had a terrible time finding when she left Williamson, NY. Wednesday's in winter found the three CRAZY GIRLS (Mother, Jugs, and Speed) skiing at Song Mountain .. Syracuse NY  Carol (nick named Mother - Dorothy (nick named Speed) and Betty (me- nicknamed Jugs)
When Carol left NY STATE it wasn't the same. Carol made friends easily, enjoyed being a homebody and always had friends drop in because "her door was always open" and coffee was readily available! She and Roy owned a Maine Coon Cat .... sadly the cat needed a new home when she moved to Missouri ... our local TV Station ended up adopting the cat as their office Mascot. RIP dear friend we traveled many memory miles
