This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Charles Leavitt, 39 years old, born on March 3, 1966, in Garden Grove, California to Rex N. Leavitt and Leila Leavitt. He loved fishing and hunting. He loved watching all sports but mostly football. He met his wife Kerri in 1986. They got married October 21,1989. They had a daughter named Shaylee on October 5,1989. They had two more kids Jamie on May 11,1991 and Taylor on May 28,1992. His kids were his pride and joy. He work in construction. He got injured and had multiple surgeries on his shoulder which lead to a blood clot in his lungs. He passed away on November 30, 2005 in Osmond, Wyoming from a pulmonary embolism and went home to Heavenly Father. He left behind his daughter Shaylee (16 at the time) and her husband Doug (now), his son Taylor (13 at the time) and his husband David (now), his son Jamie (14 at the time but preceded him in death), his ex wife Kerri. Also left behind his two granddaughters Jaelyn Renee Lasater-Leavitt (Jamie’s daughter now) and Marleigh Rae York (Shaylee’s daughter now). He was preceded in death by his father Rex, his son Jamie (in 2008), his grandson Oliver (in 2016), and his mother Leila (in 2017). He was a caring father, brother, son, nephew, and friend. He would take his shirt off his back for anyone. He was a family man and very protective. We will remember him forever. Until we see you again.
