For the years I got to know you while I was in Lagos, you were a real uncle to me. He cared to know how I was faring, and offered many useful tips on how to get ahead. We differed on certain views of life, but you were the older. With your lead, we got over our differences, and built on what mattered to both of us. I just stumbled upon this site, hence I am writing late, what I have often prayed: may the good Lord admit you to the company of the blessed. Rest in peace Uncle Cy. Dikeora!

MY TRIBUTE TO THE MAN I CALL DADDY (Chief C C Nwuba)

Daddy, If not that "death is an inevitable end" you would have being alive today,. but even the few years you spent on earth, it was full of positive lessons to most of us close to you.

Professionally you were "control" personified, with hardwork, dedication and sincerity, you were able to excel in your chosen profession. Socially you were humorous and accommodating irrespective of class.

Daddy I will forever be grateful to you for all your professional guidance, fatherly advise, you also exposed me to the secret of long and heathy life - Uprigthness, simplicity, contentedness and above all the ability to switch the mind off whenever the pressure of life becomes unbearable.

You will forever remain alive in my life and I will continually pray to that your gentle soul shall rest in the bossom of God Almighty till me meet to part no more.

Rest on Daddy

The first thing to notice about Papa was his big Mind and greatness. It didn’t take long to discover that he is a great Man. And it’s that personality that I would like to celebrate with Alexander his Son Toady.

"He was a good listener,a helper and an Icon.
Rest On Papa!!

TRIBUTE TO A TRUE FRIEND AND CONFIDANT
CHIEF C.C. NWUBA (DIKE-ORA)

My dear Chief C.C. Nwuba (Dike-Ora), the news of your demise on Sunday, 17th May, 2020 came to me and my family as a rude shock. While we are still grappling with the sudden death of your lovely wife Princess Adaeze Nwuba you decided to join her. What a great loss to the entire humanity, Achina town and the financial world. You came, you saw and you conquered.

The doyen of Achina Development is gone and gone forever. Who will fill the vacuum created by your exit? You were there at all times negotiating for the welfare and development of our community Achina. You used your ingenuity to change the narratives at Shell BP and NNPC, and replicated the same thing in Achina.

The account of provision of Electricity, water and the struggle for the creation of defunct Amaiyi L.G.A. with headquarters at Achina and the restoration exercise of the same L.G.A. in 1996 cannot be complete and true without you being mentioned as the architect. You used the instrumentality of erstwhile Achina United Organization (A.U.O.) where you were the Chairman to move Achina to a greater height. You were a trailblazer and bridge builder hence the formation of AMANANO which today is a very useful political parlance on the lips of every Achina citizen and beyond.

Dike-Ora my family will forever miss you. Your sitting position in my house has remained dusty since your demise. We shared ideas and problems together. You confided in me a lot about your life and family. Your relationship with me was classless as we cracked expensive jokes not minding you are almost the same age with my father. My wife your sister is still at a loss to have missed you and Adaeze within a short period of one year. My last child who engages you in question and answer discussions has been asking after you. Well it is not your fault. It is the call of nature. You died a great man. May the good Lord repose your soul Amen. My sincere condolences to the Nwubas’ and your children represented by Alex and Charles (Tolly).
Affectionately Yours.
