Mr. David Weaver, Jr., the son of Mrs. Ellen Weaver and the late David Weaver, Sr., was born in Columbus, GA. He gave up his earthly home for his Heavenly home on April 21, 2017 after an extended illness.
David was a 1965 graduate of Spencer High School and was a U. S. Navy Veteran. He attended Columbus College and Columbus Technical School. He retired from Kellogg in 2010. David was a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church where he served with the Ushers Ministry. He also served with the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia, Inc., the Mt. Calvary Association and participated with the Zeta Male Network.


He leaves to cherish his memories, a wife, Mary Strozier-Weaver; his mother, Mrs. Ellen Weaver; three children, Tannia Weaver, Maurice (Jennifer) Weaver and Jeremy (Felicia) Weaver; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Lula) Weaver and Anthony (Carol) Weaver; mother-in-law, Mrs. Tommie L. Strozier; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
