His Life
June 17
Dennis was born to Clyde and Myrtle Primm in Havre, Montana on September 25, 1941.  He has an older brother, Clyde Primm, Jr., born 7 years earlier.

Dennis was forever the outdoorsman, whether it be fishing, ice-fishing, hiking remote trails or exploring old mining caves.  Dennis saw the beauty in all things in nature.  He never missed a chance to stop and photograph a beautiful flowering cactus on the many trails he hiked or catch one of the various creatures he encountered, either to save them or in the old days, to let his children check them out (this was usually done by throwing his hankie on their head, much to the shock of his children).

Dennis helped raise 6 children and throughout that time lived with them in Colorado, Oregon and Wyoming.  Once retired and after his final child was out of the house, he chose to retire to Silver City, New Mexico - the perfect place for him to have access to the beautiful mountains, trails and mines of the New Mexican landscape.

Anyone who knew Dennis, knew he lived a life full of laughter (and a few curse words when the situation required it). He also told the very best stories, about his family and experiences growing up.  That humor and those stories were passed to his children and those close to him. Those that were fortunate enough to be close to Dennis will be forever grateful that he was a part of their lives.

Dennis is survived by his daughters Zabrina and Andrea (husband Anthony); by his sons Barry (wife Christina), Keith, and Aaron; by his brother Clyde; by his many loving grandchildren: Riley, Zack, Orion, Echo, Keira, Skylar, Enzo and Giovanni; by his dog Kelsie - the perfect hiking companion; and by his many dear friends in and around Silver City. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Myrtle, his wives Vicky and Mira, and his son Dennis (Zim).
