Donna Weathersby born February 22, 1961 the daughter of the late Wilbert and Dorothy Dilosa Weathersby.  She was preceded in death by her older sisters Sandra Weathersby and Sheila Weathersby Williams and her brother Ronnie Weathersby.  She leaves behind her baby sister Loriann Weathersby Carruth, her step siblings Wilbert Turner and Lena Turner, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

She attended George Washington Carver HIght School of New Orleans.  Donna completed her education at Louisiana State University and ended her career as an account for Saks Fifth Avenue.  She was also an entrepreneur as she founded Donna's Fine Collectibles.  Saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Spirit she served as Christian member of Gideon Christian Fellowship International of New Orleans, Louisiana, under the leadership of Apostle Willie F. Wooten.

The one thing we will always remember about Donna is her love for the Lord Jesus Christ,  A true Christian in heart and actions.  Always giving, smiling, fun and loving, Donna embraced strangers and love ones with a open heart.  She truly loved the Lord, and she would say "Dont' weep for me when I'm gone, celebrated for I am gone home to be with my Father in heaven".  

Struck by sudden impact with multiple sclerosischlarosis, Donna put up a great fight when her battled ended May 20, 2017.  Gone to soon, Donna will be greatly missed by family, friends and associates.
