The southern Torringtons send all love to Doreen's family and friends. You will be in our thoughts as you mourn your loss. What a wonderful, long life Doreen enjoyed--and how blessed she was to share that life with her sweet family!

Aunt Doreen was a kind and loving friend who was very dear to me.
Although I will miss her, I feel fortunate to have so many great memories of her from all the happy times we enjoyed together.

One of the things that comes to mind when Janice and I think of Aunt Doreen was her limitless hospitality. While still living in her home we had been invited for a visit and of course she would not hear of us dropping by if we did not have lunch as well. The afternoon went by quickly with much laughter and conversation. Before you know it was closing in on suppertime. True to form she was insisting that we could not possibly think of leaving before we also stayed for supper. We had tickets to attend a concert that evening or I'm sure we would have not been able to leave before having dinner as well. Because of her generous, kind nature Janice and I always left feeling so much better about everything after a visit with her Aunt Doreen.

There are so many memories of growing up with my father's family Tom and Aileen Davidson and my fathers brothers and sisters and their family
Family gathering in Bancroft with aunts , uncles, cousins and as life went on and our spouses and children if we were blessed to have them and family reunions that are so much a part of our lives to share our memories
Family celebrations are a time to remember how good it is to be a part of a family and keep the family ties growing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are the generation that remembers our history and pass it on to the future generation and hope that the memories light a candle to keep this family and our memories growing and alive.
