Franklin Eugene McMillin, age 56, passed on to glory on July 3rd, 2024, in his hometown of Hueytown, Alabama. He was born October 11th, 1967, in Jefferson County, Alabama to Franklin and Dana McMillin. He loved baseball and football. He was a big Alabama fan, "Roll Tide"! Frankie married his soulmate and the love of his life Yvonne Ames on October 17th, 2020, in South Carolina. They then married again on June 9th, 2021, in Alabama. He loved gifting her on every anniversary, holiday, and sometimes for no reason at all. They had a love like no other. Frankie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, tow truck driver, and hero. He had several nicknames but the ones that stood out the most were Papa and Mr. Hueytown. He was the best Papa to Pearce. He loved that baby. Papa was his best friend.
Mr. Hueytown loved his job, and he loved his work family at Classic Towing. He passed away doing what he loved. He was happy with his life. As his work brother said, Frankie's impact on those around him cannot be overstated. His passion for his work and unwavering commitment to helping others inspired us all. He will be deeply missed but his memory will live on through us all.
