Freddie Cornelius Edrington was born September 4, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio to George Davis and Dorothy Mae Edrington. Freddie was the third child and grew up with two siblings Brenda lee and David Euron. He attended Hoffman Elementary School and Withrow High School.

He embodied tenets of Renaissance humanism, limitless in his appreciation for development. He was also a well-known musician with a unique voice. Freddie enjoyed collecting artwork, antiques, and volunteered in the neighborhood.

Freddie leaves to mourn in his passing his children Donte, Cornelius, Kimberly & Kelly, and Cornelius, his grandchildren Alani, Cornelius Jr., Amarion, and Amir, his sister Brenda Edrington Young, and one Aunt Thelma Willis. He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by both his parents and his brother David.
