August 13, 1962 – June 8, 2024

Gary Layton, age 61, of Pell City AL, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Gary was born in Oklahoma City, OK and lived in Pell City, AL at the time of his passing.

Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Ione Layton and father, Lavon A. Layton.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Amanda Brooke Layton and his son Zack Layton.  Three grandchildren, Zander Layton, Jake Arnold and Chloe Arnold.  One sibling, Mike Layton along with Cousins, Nephews and Nieces.

Gary loved his family very much.  He loved riding his motorcycle, often doing benefit rides to help others in need.  Gary had a big heart; children were especially drawn to him around Christmas time as they thought he was Santa.  His personality was big as life, and he kept his family and friends laughing.  Gary was loved by many and will be missed tremendously.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 1 p.m. at The American Legion, Post 107, Leeds, AL, (8299 Railroad Ave., Leeds, AL 35094).
