My darling sis. as I fondly call you, I still can't find words to express my pain at your passing. Our friendship and sisterhood of over two decades bear witness to the saying - "a friend who sticks closer than a brother"! Toyin, you were my sister from another mother, my cheerleader, my fashion police, chief organizer, gist buddy, confidant, go-to person and I can go on and on.
Even though I’m still trying to make a sense of your passing but I’m consoled by the many memories we shared.
Sis, you were so loving, beautiful, brilliant, giving, energetic, intentional and audacious. I’m writing now out of gratitude that I had you in my life. Thanks for sharing yourself with my family and me.
Rest well darling sis. Rest well Toyin till we meet again at Jesus’ feet.
With lots of love,
Atinuke Kudaisi
