We both also love NHRA drag racing and Jim flew up here a couple of times and go to the races at Englishtown NJ
I am truly honored to say he was my friend he will be missed but not forgotten
James B. Nichols Jr. went home to be with his beloved wife, Peggy Nichols, early Friday morning on July 5th at the age of 65. Jim was a kind man who left a lasting impact everywhere he went. Jim was proceeded in death by his wife, parents, and brother. He is survived by his son Jonathan (Anna) Nichols; son Matt Garrett; daughter Daisy Garrett; sister Pat Williamson; sister-in-law Sam Nichols; grandchildren Caleb, Jordan, Roman, and Sabra; his second family at S & W Electric where he worked for over 20 years; and friends from all over the United States. Jim donated his earthly vessel to the University of Tennessee’s Anthropology Department so that he may continue to help others. Family requests that friends and family privately remember Jim in a way special to them. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the University of Tennessee’s Anthropology Department to help fund research.
