Her Life
July 6, 2017

Born feisty and very strong willed and independent, Jamie swam long before she walked and loved the water, swam like a dolphin, enjoyed swimming, tubing, fishing and boating at the lake.

She was on the swim team at Park Hill High School, and was a Lifeguard for many years.

Jamie was born with beach in her soul and loved the ocean, especially the Gulf of
Mexico, parasailing, skimming across the ocean on a wave runner, riding
boogie boards, shelling, and frolicking.

Avid traveler, she was blessed to experience many National and state parks, enjoyed Disneyland, Disneyworld, Seaworld, Epcot, Universal, and experienced the Wild Wild West in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota and New Mexico, Garden of the Gods, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, of course beaches galore up and down the gulf coast and atlantic ocean.

Jamie's sense of adventure was her essence gained naturally through her DNA from her mother and both of her grandmothers. It didn't matter if it was a car, airplane, train, boat she was IN and ready to go.

Artistic, open, creative, she began to draw and paint at a very young age and expressed her emotions with her creations, including her body art, each one a story or tribute.

Jamie loved everyone and would light up the world with her bright blue eyes and loving smile, but especially animals and she had a variety of those.

Always an avid sports fan she was crazy for the KC Royals and KC Chiefs, gamedays and food feasts!

Always willing to help others, she aspired to be a Marine Biologst or a Nurse.

Jamie is survived by her parents, Peggy Marshall and Jim Dougan and one brother, Justin Dougan, 2 step brothers, DJ Marshall, Corey Marshall, and step sister Trisha Marshall Hart as well as a large extended family of Aunts, Uncles and cousins, and many friends and acquaintances.

Rest in Peace and glory, fly high my sweet angel
