Jarrett Robert Pilkey

Jarrett Robert Pilkey, age 36, of Lake Stevens, Washington died Friday, November 25th, 2016. He died suddenly on a hike, in a place that he loved (Granite Falls) with close friends and nature by his side.

He leaves behind a stunned, heartbroken family, community of friends and colleagues. Jarrett was raised in the Tam O' Shanter neighborhood in Bellevue, and attended Bennett Elementary, Highland Middle School and Interlake High School. He was proud to work at Boeing as a Lead with the 787 Operations Team at the Everett Modification Center. He was a talented horse trainer and an avid outdoorsman with many interests and hobbies. His greatest joys were: family, friends, animals, fishing, boating, gaming, collecting guns, and target shooting. He was a beloved son, intrepid brother, dedicated friend and an incredibly loved family member. He cherished the peace and beauty of nature and spent many hours of his life on rivers, lakes, shores, and trails. Jarrett was a take-charge guy and was always there to help family and friends. He was a kind, authentic, caring, energetic, and intelligent young man who will be missed immensely in many communities. He was preceded in death by his father Stanley Robert Pilkey (2013) and leaves behind his mother Marilee K. Pilkey, younger brother Chris & (Annie) Pilkey and a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins and friends.

Jarrett we miss your voice, your hugs, your playful ways and your presence in our lives. You are deeply loved and will be forever in our hearts. May God's eternal love bless and keep you.
