The son of Ms. Sheryl Hubbard of Columbus, Johnathan was born in Indianapolis, IN and was a 2001 graduate of the George Washington High School. He obtained further studies at the University of Phoenix and Columbus Technical College. Johnathan was a member of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church where he served for many years with Sunday School, Choir, and was the Church drummer.

He was preceded in death by his sister Sherrelle L. Mozie.

Survivors, other than his parents, include: his children, JaMichael Murray and Jayla S. Hubbard; a brother, Stedman J. Hubbard; his beloved grandparents, Sidney, Sr. and Inell Hubbard; three aunts, Trina Dennis (Wade), Johnna Bleach and Polly Hicks; special friends, Rick McGruder, Derrick Scott and Marketta Drake; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
