Sorry to hear about John. My dad, Tony Matula (and my mom, Del) were life long friends.  John attended our annual picnics and it was heartwarming to here the decades of stories of the good ole days.  These chats included Glen and Bernie Gideon and Phil Petroski. All men, friends since high school and possibly even grade school! A joy to see the amazing bonds of friendship.

I’ve always called him pop we shared a love of cars and Drag Racing I enjoyed bench racing with him always looked forward to seeing him at the Holiday Dinners with some of the family.I was fortunate enough to spend time with him on several occasions at Breakfast The Mug rack or Sorrentinos we talked shop the family or whatever. We went to the Matco Tool Nationals we had VIP tickets and enjoyed lunch with the Matco Team drivers .He really enjoyed that experience and I did also Rest in peace pop
