Joseph E. Modesitt Jr., 47 years old, was born on May 26, 1974 in Dayton, Ohio and passed away on August 29, 2021 in Dayton, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph E. Modesitt Sr. and Thelma Barcy. Joe is survived by his caring son, Eric Modesitt; his siblings, Jeremiah, Johnny, Jason, Jacob, Tina, and William; his stepmother, Cindy Modesitt; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
