Justin was the best little league baseball coach I could have hope for. We were pretty good also. This later develop into a friendship during my high school years of playing baseball. One of our favorite things to do after practice was Stopping by Captain D’s to pick up a 24 piece butterfly Shrimp,oh boy those were good times. A Good man and friend will truly be missed. R.I.P️

I was not Justin’s biological Aunt, but every since I came in his family’s life, he has called me Auntie. If I couldn’t get Brian on the phone, Justin was next. I would called Nikki only if I had to because I didn’t want to disturb her with something that may end up being Jocelyn just not answering the phone. Always in my heart he will be like an older son to me. This has been a hard one for all of us to process, but God’s got us! TAKE YOUR
REST JUSTIN, YOU WILL BE MISSED BY YOUR AUNTIE SANDRA HART MITCHELL AND T’ANA.

We can never prepare for moments like this, but the way I found out and timing made it 50 times worse. Justin, it's so much I can say but the words wouldn't be enough. You was and always will be my teammate, my Friend, my Brother, my Barber and a shoulder to lean on. I will never forget the times we had. You truly marched to the beat of your own drum and I applaud for that. You and the Thigpen Family have touched and made the lives of many a whole lot easier in hard times, especially mine. I pray that Momma Jocelyn, Nikki and Bryan find comfort and peace in knowing that your job was well done here on earth. I will never forget when we played for West End Panthers, skipped football practice and decided to walk to the field and watch them. When the coaches saw us and got upset, you looked me in my face and said, "so, who cares"!! I knew at that point that I had a friend for life, because I was looking for a place to hide and you was looking at the coaches like you was one already. You was a rock to many and I wish you were granted more time to continue making the impacts on lives as you did. You were a Warrior and it wasn't a soul outside the Thigpen household that could break your spirit, drive and love for music. I will miss you forever. Proverbs 17:17 speaks about what a Brother is. But it could have been summed up with two names, Justin and Bryan. From Honolulu with Love my Brothers.
