ForeverMissed

Kimberley Anne Jimenez lost her battle with cancer, but won her race of life. As our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend, she leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, laughter, and hospitality. Kim’s time with us felt too short, but we rest in the peace and hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our Sweet Kim is with the Lord, cheering us on and waiting for us to join her. Our family will never be the same. We love you, Mom.

Kim’s life is one to be celebrated and one that will be greatly missed. She was always ready to greet with a warm smile, and loved celebrating big and small things in life. She was so thoughtful in her gift giving and her care for individuals. She extended the love of Christ in the ways she interacted with anyone. I am so thankful to have known her. She delighted in her family, and it was always sweet to hear and see that. Looking through our text correspondence, I love seeing her excitement in Riley and interest in our life even in the midst of her suffering. We continue to pray for you Rich, Andra, Harrison and Riley. We are SO grateful we knew Kim❤️❤️

When Kim joined the staff, I was still single. A few months later I told her I was dating Tony, and she said, "Oh, good! I've been praying for this for you!" Unbeknownst to me, she had been a prayer warrior for me from the very beginning. Since then she's been with me every step of the way through major life changes--she was always eager to hear how I was doing as we chatted about marriage and then having kids, for myself and for Andra. She had such a joy about her, and also truly cared about the STARS and wanted the best for them. I'm so grateful for the time I got to work with her, and she will be deeply missed. Our Bible study text this week included the verse "To live is Christ, to die is gain" and that has greatly encouraged me because Kim embodied this verse: She really did live for Christ, and although we are experiencing sorrow and loss, she has gained the ultimate joy and glory of being with her Savior. We love you, Kim--love from Tony, Kristin, Pearson, and Isaiah

We are so sorry, friends! I’ll never forget the joy and light that filled Kim’s face and the space around her whenever she got to brag about her sweet daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. I have known Kim for 6-7yrs (I think) and every time I saw her, she simply beamed the love of Christ. Andra, she was SOOO proud of you, and took such incredible delight in being your mom. That joy grew exponentially as your family grew to add Harrison and Riley. Boys, you’re both answers to Kim’s prayers, too. Love each other well in her absence, and her legacy will live on.

Rich and Andra, my heart especially breaks for you both. We’re crying, grieving, and praying alongside you. Kim made people feel seen! I remember many times as a young adult or throughout my pregnancy, she would be so genuinely interested in how I was doing. I never saw her down. She always had a smile on her face, would laugh, and give hugs. Kim had such a peaceful welcoming presence. She trusted God and loved others well! She is very missed.❤️❤️❤️

I am grieving with you, dear Andra, and with your family. For some reason, I have always had a distinct memory of sitting in the car with your Mom, Dad, and my brother Michael. We were in high school and your parents had first joined Redeemer. I don’t know where they were taking us, but I remember feeling your Mom’s joy and kindness fill that space. I was insecure and shy, but she made me feel safe and seen in just a few moments. She didn’t waste even a ten minute car ride to spread God’s love to others.
