Mrs. Lashley was born in Chambers County, Alabama April 1, 1941 to the late Wilfred Poe and the late Rubye Singer Poe, she was a member of the Center Baptist Church and was retired from Tallapoosa River Electric after 35 years of service.

She is survived by 2 children-LeAnn (Alan) Hurd of Newnan, Ga., Robert Leon "Chip" Lashley, Jr. of LaFayette, Al., 1 sister -Debby (Crue) Gleaton of LaFayette, Al., 2 grandchildren-Kyle Lashley, Makaley Hurd.  She was preceded in death by her husband Leon Lashley.
