Too Many Stories to Remember

November 9, 2019
Mike was a jokester and story teller. Many of his stories were about himself or his family. He would poke fun at himself and I used to think Sue had to be a Saint. There was the time he was watching the kids and lost one, or the time his car rolled out of the drive, the time he changed his jacket and forgot to bring his wallet to work, then called Sue to drive to Richmond instead of asking one is us to borrow the money for gas.

We always knew where Mike had been in the office because he always left his coffee behind. I don’t know if he drank much coffee at all. He could get along with anyone and always had a ready smile and laugh. I could follow the laughter when I needed him, if not the trail of cold coffee cups. He brightened a lot of lives and will be missed
