Michael Paul DeStefano known lovingly to everyone as Mickey joined his parents in Heaven on Mothers day, May the 14th, 2017 due to complications of COPD and pneumonia. Mickey was born on September 25th, 1937 and lived in Queens NY until 1972 when he moved his family to New Mexico for 4 years then on to Las Vegas Nevada where he remained. Mickey had a brief stint in the US Army then worked as a driver for many years before becoming a Custodian at St Viators Catholic school in Las Vegas NV, where he was known as Mr Mike. He was loved by the children and staff alike and received quite the retirement send off after 20 years of service at age 66. Mickey was loved for his ripe sense of humor, he loved to cook and mangia many Italian favorites. His faith, family and his Italian heritage remained most important to him.
