Monica was born on August 7, 1987 on one of the hottest days that year. Monica always was ahead of the pack. She walked at 10 months. Monica was speaking by 1 years old and could change pampers at 4 years old. She practiced on her baby brother, NaShawn!

Monica was always happy and smiling as a child. But, Monica was very protective of her little brother NaShawn!! As a child she didn't play when it came to the protection of her baby brother. She loved him like some good ole southern cooked food.

She was always well liked even into her teenage and adult life. She had a loving and caring spirit. Always willing and wanting to help others. People always took to her spirit and presence.

Monica was very fond of and loved her family over everything. Especially when she became a mother. She loved her daughters more than anything in the world.

Monica wrote the most beautiful poetry. I wish I could find her NOTEBOOK with all the deep, (some) dark and personal tributes of poetry she wrote. I miss my baby girl. We would talk and talk for hours and hours!! I know she is having long winded conversations with her Granddaddy and Daddy!!! That keeps me smiling knowing that is so true of a statement.

Monica was a true Leo Lioness. She will always be missed, loved and always remembered.

Monica  your 2 little girls, Emani & Desi. I know you are smiling down and watching over them.
