One day at his home in Fairfield, I had brought my boys over to visit with my parents. Pop was in his chair naked (with a towel) and asleep. My mom got frustrated with Pop for not trying to get dressed or pay attention to the time (knowing the grand-kids were coming). Mom went storming down the hall to get his clothes, all the while cursing him upside-down and backwards. My boys thought it was hilarious. As Pop sat up with a glazed look of confusion, he briefly turned to me, gave a smirk and a wink, and went back to looking confused. That's when I realized he had just created fun for him and my boys on an otherwise boring afternoon
