Mrs. Holloway was born April 17, 1941 in Heard County to the late Huey Adams and Cecil Mae Vines Adams. She was a member of Cedar Lane Chapel.

Before her retirement, she worked as an inspector for Stitchbonders.

Family was at the center of her life. She loved to cook delicious meals and have everyone around the table. Times spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were especially precious to her.

In her leisure time she enjoyed going to yard sales. Her favorite vacation spot was Florida, where she liked to go walking on the beach with her family.

Survivors include: her husband, Robert Lee Holloway of Franklin; four daughters: Robin Farrar (Mark) of Roopville, Lisa Holloway (Jim Smith) of Franklin, Tracy Holcomb (Alan) of Franklin, and Jalynne Holloway of Franklin; one son, Robert H. Holloway (Sheenah Pike) of Franklin; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Joyce Thompson (Earl) of Ephesus and Judy Mitchell of Franklin; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Rudd Walker; and two brothers: Junior Adams and Jerry Adams.
