Rita Freide Ilse Myer Minor was born 10/09/1939 in Pankin, Pomerania, which used to be in Germany but is now part of Poland. She grew up in Idar-Oberstein Germany. She is preceded in death by her husband Rex Minor, of Sylacauga; parents, Paul & Lydia Myer, twin sister Helga, sister Lilli. She is survived by two sons, Gary Minor (Natalie), Stan Minor (Camille) Grand-daughters, Shelby Turner (Chad), Sandi Beatos (Cody), Gretchen Minor, Grand-sons Spencer Minor and Logan Minor. She came to the United States in 1961 after marrying Rex Minor and became a citizen in 1967. She was an avid gardener, loving mother and grandmother.
