Remembering Roma Wilkinson on the 10th anniversary of her death.

Ruth Oma Wilkinson (née Wagaman) passed away in Rancho Cordova, Sacramento on February 12, 2013, aged 94. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 27, 1918 to Randall and Vera Wagaman as the fourth of nine chilsren. Ruth was firstly married to Bill Mackintosh in 1939, Ernest Trujillo in 1950, then Donald Wilkinson in 1954. Known affectionately as "Roma", she built a career in music as a songwriter, penning hits for huge stars including Jim Reeves, the Andrews Sisters, and Bing Crosby.
