One of twelve children born to the union of the late Henry and Annie Lou Barnes Woodard, Mrs. Roberts was born in Meriwether County, GA and obtained her education within the Meriwether County Schools. She received a Bachelor degree from Savannah State College and Masters degree from Ft. Valley State College. She was a member of Spirit, Truth and Liberty Ministries International, and was an educator for 30 years within the Muscogee County Schools. Her last tenure was with Key Elementary School. She was also a member of the Muscogee and Georgia Educators Association, the Retired Educators Association and was an Eastern Star. She will always be remembered as one of God's Angels on earth to her family, her students, and her beloved friends. Her strength and endurance will forever remain in our hearts. 

Surviving her departure with cherished memories, include: her son, Vincent J. Roberts; two siblings, Lucille W. Simpson and Willie H. Woodard; loving caregivers, Marion Keith and Evelyn Alford; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
