Sandy was a tremendous ally on justice issues with the General Board of Church and Society. Over the years my colleagues and I relied on her wisdom and responsive passion to lift up relevant issues in the public square. Sandy spoke with conviction for the common good and was not afraid to take a risk and stand on the side of love and justice. She is appreciated for her legacy and will be missed.

She was great, always thinking of Deaf missions. I attended meetings with her several times at Columbia, MD. A sweet lady.

Sandy WAS a wonderful woman and will be remembered with love.  Her family and friends will be in my prayers.
~ Rev. Nancy

Sandy was always the person who "got" Deaf Ministry and many other social justice issues.  Her love and support was an under-pinning that made for a strong robust Deaf Ministry possible through her advocacy for and with us. I personally am grateful for her support of the Deaf Shalom Zone and the difference that ministry made in the lives of thousands of Deaf people and their families and in my life as the director.

Blessings and peace to all who knew her.
~ Carol

I remember Sandy and her support for Deaf Ministry. It was always a pleasure to see her at meetings at the conference center. She would always say hello to the Deaf choir when we were in attendance at special events. Very loving spirit. Will pray for her family, and all who were touched by her presence.

Sandy Ferguson had a disability and Deaf ministry heart! She supported this work in the annual conference and around the globe. The work she did lives on in the ministries and lives she touched.
~ Bishop Peggy

I will always remember the stories Sandy shared about my parents. Sandy's commitment to racial justice, social justice, and her dedication to the areas of Deaf Ministries and Disability Ministries will always be remembered. She was an advocate for many ministries. What a blessing she was.
~ Rev. Leo

I remember Sandy. I was a newbie in Deaf Ministries in the BWC. She was very kind and I remember what an advocate she was. Prayers for her and her family.  God has a wonderful Angel in heaven now.
~ Sarah
