One time my mom made the paper, must've been out partying one night. She hit and run some dude in the parking lot, of a bar. Later ha identified her by her legs, and I remember reading the article, in the R.J. I knew it was her by her legs! Busted!
One year we had that haunted house at 5109 Alta. It was awesome, we turned the bar room into the creepy party room! Our Mom was right there having all the fun! As usuall the whole neiborhood came! It was one of the coolest memories ever. Our Uncle Bruce's Birthday, and pumkin spice everything, my fav!
The whole month of July, from beggining to end, was the celebration! And everyones birthday, she always made it fun, and a holiday! She made our parties a big deal, She was a blast! Full of fun surprises, vacations, and just a cool easy going, nice to everyone kind of gal! Thanks Mom, love you.
I used to have this saying, God knows I'm sorry for every bad thing I ever did! We did everything our mom said not to. She still loved us unconditionally, thank you Jesus, God, and Mom, for forgiving us! Miss talking everyday!
One time, when I was little , I remember my mom fed, and gave a guy that lived in the desert a key, to our laundry room so he would be warm at night. It was around the holidays, so it was pretty cold out. In life, she always was helping people, in her own special ways. She had a unique quality of making people feel worthy, and loved. We love, and miss you so much. We know your still here, just in a different way, Just miss the way about you!
At least once, or twice a year, she would take us on vacation, mostly Disneyland, that was our favorite, buy wherever we wanted, she would save her tips, in a jar to take us! She loved taking us, as much as we ioved going. So many great memories!
The first concert she let us go to was Rufus and Chaka Khan, She was working as a cocktail waitress there, and let Aunt Marion take us. I remember being not old enough to wear makeup, So Brenda,Trish, and I wore powder, as eyeshadow. We grewup seeing many concerts, from that point on we went to concert, after concert. We saw so many concerts, One of my first jobs, was an usher at concerts! Because the staff, got so use to seeing us! Gave me a job, Awesome fun! Everyone that knew us, wanted to hang out, at our house. Growing up, was alot of fun with her, and our friends, Never a dull moment!
One year for St. Patrick's Day, when she was, our girlscout leader, She not only got us out of Catholic School for the day, We also led the parade, downtown. Hey,we're girlscouts, all green! Was a great leader, everyone wanted to be in our troop! We took Karate lessons, and went camping, at Mt. Charlston. One time, while camping with them, I decided to sleep in my friends tent one night! for some reason, , I must have been sleep walking, and got lost,I was looking for my moms tent, where she was asleep, with Dawn. Thought I found it, Until I came across, some little boys shoe! All the tents were green, It was dark, Finally after hours, I found them! Hillarious now, not then! Always taking us, on fun adventures, Always!
