She contributed immensely to the service of her community and humanity. I urge you loved ones to accept her demise in good faith, knowing that death is the ultimate end of all mortals. Ugonna, your late Mum carved a niche for herself. She wrote her name in gold as a heroine, iconic trailblazer, a pathfinder for her generation and a quintessential teacher per excellence. She was stubbornly unapologetic about her convictions. You can't but admire her sharpness of mind, tenacity of thought and originality of purpose.

She was a wonderful soul, ever ready for results-oriented endeavour. She was a thoroughbred teacher who commanded respect amongst those who knew her. She was kind, generous, compassionate, genial, amiable, Inimitable, conscientious, forthright, gregarious, irrepressible and indefatigable personality. She was an embodiment of loyalty, sincerity, trust and support. She was a woman you would want by your side when winning is the goal. She was an optimist, goal getter and compulsive workaholic. You guys should, please, keep me posted with the date of her funeral. I would love to compere the funeral event. She was amongst those teachers who moulded us and tolorated our youthful exuberance back in those days.

Mama, your life underscores, once again, the fact that life is like a folktale. It is not how long that really matters more, but how well, interesting and impactful, indeed. As one of America's greatest statesmen, the ever philosophical Benjamin Franklin, aptly put it: "A long life may not be good, but a good life is long enough," Yours was a good and remarkable life. Just like Julius Caesar, you ride home in torrents of tributes and you can always beat your chest to say: "Veni, Vidi, Vici" for you truly came, you saw and you conquered. Mummy, see you in the new Jerusalem, someday. And may chariots of angels ride you to your eternal rest. Amen.

Tribute by Anselm Ahuama to "Compassionate" Mrs. Sylvia Wachuku

October 5, 2021
"Accept my sincere condolences. I share in your pain and grief; but be consoled that Mama lived a significant and remarkable good life.
As one of America's greatest statesmen, the ever philosophical Benjamin Franklin, aptly put it: "A long life may not be good, but a good life is long enough." Yours was a good and remarkable life. Amen."
