A stalwart figure in academia, renowned for your depth of knowledge and astute pedagogical approach. Your gracious contribution of a foreword to my inaugural publication, "The Internet Simplified," remains a cherished testament to your generosity and intellectual support. May God be with your family, and may your tranquil soul find eternal peace.

Just hearing this news. He was our Prof before he became a Prof. He was my project supervisor. We all always pass his course because he teaches well, very friendly and accommodating. You are the best lecturer that taught me ever.

When I was going to get admission into the University,Prof was my interviewer..as much as he is an utterly serious person, he still managed to make me feel comfortable and even cracked a joke with me..I remember he asked why I wanted to to be admitted, and I said “I was part of the pioneer set of my secondary school’ and he immediately interjected saying “ so you want to pioneer here too” and we both laughed.

He ended up being the dean of my faculty (college) and my lecturer. He takes serious thigh serious and is always willing to teach, he once came into our class and when we complained about another subject, he immediately started teaching

On behalf of the 1989 Faculty of Engineering Alumni, we were blessed to have you as not only lecturer but destiny shaper.

While in that remote location for 5years, you sacrificed yourself, time and energy to connect us with the future of the course, our career in Electrical Engineering.

It was you that introduced us to both Basic & Computer Languages, you also supported the establishment of the computer club, with your knowledge, fund and pioneered the setting up of the computer laboratory with that AppleTosh, and then a 286 PC with which we queued to run our disks....good memories.

While I leave other good memories for others to write, we look forward to see you on that bright morning at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Good Night Prof. Ibiyemi

Hmmmm, it was a shock when I heard about your death (@Professor T. S. Ibiyemi) but I give glory to God for a life well spent and the opportunity to have been one of your students.

You have indeed impacted my life positively and I believe that is the story of many of your students (if not all). Your contributions to the academic landscape in Nigeria and research institutes throughout the world will not be forgotten. You were an inspiration to us (the pioneer EIE set of Covenant University) and I believe your legacy will live forever.

My prayer is that God will comfort your family and all of us in Jesus name, Amen.

Sleep on Prof. T. S. Ibiyemi and continue to rest in the bosom of God till we meet again in Heaven. You will forever be missed sir. Adieu Prof. T. S. Ibiyemi.
