Ms. Roberts, a native of Troup County, GA, was born December 9, 1947 to Ida Bell Upshaw Roberts and the late Willie B. Roberts. She was a member of the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. Earnestine, as was the known to many, was a 1965 graduate of Rehobeth High School. She was formerly employed by West Point Pepperell with many years of service.

Earnestine enjoyed cooking for family and would spend hours doing arts and crafts.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara E. Roberts. She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted mother, Ida Bell Roberts, Lanett, AL; one sister, Barbara (Raymond) Lovelace, Lanett, AL; one brother, Larry Boyd, Lanett, AL; three aunts, Ruby Jackson, Katie Mae Goss, Boston, MA and Catherine Little, Lanett, AL; one uncle, Willie Robert Goss, Lanett, AL; one niece, Twyla Roberts, Durham, NC; two nephews, Nicholaus Roberts, Bremerton, WA and Lai-Barrett Roberts, Lanett, AL and a host of relatives and friends.
