Theresa Phillips Blackburn, age 74, of Childersburg, Alabama, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024.

Theresa was born in Sylacauga, Alabama to Jessie and Clarence Phillips.  She grew up in Childersburg alongside her siblings and attended Childersburg High School, graduating in 1968.

Theresa had two children whom she devoted her life to raising as a single mom. Her beloved daughter, the late Stacy Glass and son, Gene Blackburn.

Theresa was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was known for her kind heart and generous spirit.  She enjoyed reading and cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.

Theresa is survived by her sister Alice (Bucky) Nash, son, Gene (Elizabeth) Blackburn.  Grandchildren Heather (Kenny) Black, Chris (Melissa) Reynolds, Joshua (Brittany) Reynolds, Jesse(Jocelynn) Blackburn, Jeremy (Alyssa) Blackburn, Emily(Joshua) Florence, Abbey (Josiah) Davis and Justin Blackburn.

Great Grandchildren Kayleigh, Katelynn, Kayla, Brantley, Noah, Noelle, Brett, Myles, Grayson, Athena and Briella.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Stacy (Jay) Glass, great-granddaughter Kylie Marie, brothers, Gary and David Phillips, and her parents, Clarence and Jessie Phillips.
