His Life

The son of the late Charlie and Laura King Singleton was born in Ft. Monmouth, NY and was a 1971 graduate of Baker High School where he excelled in football. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of 22 dedicated years and a recipient of many awards and accommodations. He also retired from Civil Services at Ft. Knox, KY. He was a member of New Providence Baptist Church, the DAV and was a Prince Hall Mason.

Survivors include: his wife of 43 years, Mary Mabry-Wright Singleton; two sons, Anthony Singleton (Yolanda) and Thomas L. C. Singleton; a daughter, Kimberly Franklin (Mikel), seven grandchildren, Brittany, LeRondo, DeVon, DeVantae, Toni, Aleah, and Mya; one great grandchild, Nyla; two brothers, Robert Singleton (Ethel) and Ronald Singleton (Uchefuna); five sisters, Vivian McNeal, Maureen Smith (John), Clara Taylor, Johnnie M. Singleton and Bobbie A. Piett (Gregory); in-laws, Geraldine Simmons and Clarence Mabry; loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
