To the Vitas Healthcare team and Watson, Katie, Joanna, Julianna, Vanessa, Chris, Dr. Miller, Richard who were the exceptional caregiver team with whom my father loved. To the medical service technicians from Vitas who provided all of Dad's equipment and pick up of equipment, thank you. I am so appreciative and I know Dad was too. 

On behalf of Mr. Connelly’s children, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your incredible care and genuine concern for our father; you were the guardian angels who honored his life and wishes with dignity, respect, compassion and grace, while extending love and support to all the Connelly children et al.

I was a friend of Bill's from our church. Bill saw in me my leadership skills and convinced me to be a Stephen Leader and Stephen Minister, where I was able to get to know him very well. We led a ministry of caring and support for those who need someone to listen and walk with them. Bill was one of the original leaders who brought this to the church after he saw the need for compassionate care. His work in this ministry and his skill for recruiting the leaders and the ministers was exceptional. Bill led our meetings with a gentle touch of love and compassion, but he never failed to add a bit of humor to the group. When I was sad, frustrated, and unsure of what to do next, Bill was supportive, but he always told a story to make us laugh and realize that as bad as life can be, there is always room for a smile and a joke. Bill was a true friend. I am grateful I was able to go visit him so often while he was in hospice care. We talked about our careers, our faith, and our time together in the Stephen Ministry. I will miss this man so much! Prayers to his family at this time. He was the best!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you move through the days ahead. May your memories sustain and comfort you. One day, when you remember something from the past it will bring a smile and warm your heart...for his love will forever be with you.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of your Dad and know he will be missed for who he was and the role he played in the lives of all of you. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers as I extend my deepest sympathies. May his soul rest in peace and may you continue to cherish and find strength in the love and fond memories of him that you have hold close to your hearts.
