Bill, was my friend. He was a good friend and taught me a lot about people and the people I worked with as a young Hoover police officer. I hated to hear he passed away without seeing him again. He gave me training that helped me throughout my career and life. He and I both shared a true love of dogs. His wife "Spaby" is one of the kindest people I ever met and fed Bill and me homemade pasta at least twice a week when I worked Bluff Park. I know Bill loved his family and although we had not seen each other in quite a while I know he was still my friend. Rest in Peace Bill.

Bill was a great guy, family man, grandfather, cop, lawyer and friend. I worked at a neighboring police agency and he always dropped in, laughed, told lies and left you with a smile.
As a lawyer, he helped his friends, guided them in legal issues and more often than not, did it pro bono! Bill gave his all to his clients, even when they were faced with horrible crimes, he did his job with compassion, understanding and savvy! He was a gentleman, religious, and a lawyer you wanted in your corner.
I will miss his insights, personal flare, intellect and conversations. He was one of a kind!
